Our Story

How Loftmotif began:

Founded in 2012 driven by a passion for good design, quality products and fair pricing, Loftmotif was created to supply a small range of light fittings to bars and cafes, particularly those rebuilding after the Christchurch earthquake.

Loftmotif in short:

After starting out shipping a few wooden crates of light shades, we discovered that there was a real demand for good quality products offered at fair prices. As the interest in our products grew, so did our business. It wasn’t long before we were shipping full containers of lights to New Zealand. We now boast a full range of industrial-inspired enamel lighting and relevant lighting accessories including LED filament bulbs, cable and ceiling roses.

Ethos:

We aim to produce well-made products of good design that we can provide to our customers at fair and attainable prices. We ensure all our electrical parts meet AS/NZS electrical standards.

Who we supply

The public – All products we stock are available to the public to purchase on our website. If you want to see our lights in person or need some advice on what sort of lighting to use for your space, send us a message at info@loftmotif.co.nz

Trade Clients – Architects, designers and electricians are a key part of our business with a large number of our lights installed in bars, restaurants, cafes, offices and home renovations. If you are interested in working with us on a trade basis, get in touch with us at info@loftmotif.co.nz

Wholesale/Stockists – If you are interested in stocking our products, we are happy to discuss a partnership with your business. Options include wholesale purchasing/ stocking (50+ pieces) or indent ordering for larger quantities (150+ pieces).
